Itinerary
Day 1: Private Day Trip from Casablanca to Fez
Departing at 8:00 AM from your Casablanca hotel in a private, comfortable vehicle with your driver-guide, embark on a full-day tour to Fes. Begin at Bab Boujloud, the ornate blue gate leading into the Medina, then proceed to the magnificent Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, known for its beautiful esplanade hosting the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music. Explore the Foundouk Najjarine, housing the Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts, showcasing traditional tools and Berber carpets. Visit the Qaraouiyine Mosque, recognized by UNESCO as the world’s oldest operating institution, before delving into the souks of Fez along the river and within the town walls. Witness the city’s famed tannery, the largest in Africa, and explore the Mellah or Jewish Quarter, including the old Ibn Danan Synagogue. After a break, marvel at the Marinids Tombs for panoramic views over the Medina’s white houses. Conclude your day trip, returning to Casablanca at 18:00.
